Hello every one!! It's certainly been some time since I last visited Nepal but I do have fond memories of my very brief life, living in Nepal from 1964 until 1974.
When I arrived in Kathmandu in 1964, I actually had culture shock!! I lived my teen-age years in Shillong, Meghalaya and was amazed how different Nepal was from Shillong. Believer it or not, I was surprised to see a bunch of cows in the streets!!
February is Spring time and a really good time for visiting Nepal. Tourism in Nepal was and still is the nation's lucrative industry so to speak!
Many airlines including Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways fly to Nepal.
I met and made friends with whom I correspond to this day.
I love Kathmandu as it's uniquely quaint in many ways; interestingly, Nepal has one foot in the 16th Century and the other foot in the 21st Century!! As an airhostess (flight attendant, I had the opportunity in my youth), to visit Pokhara, Bhairavah, Dang, Lumbini, and Biratnagar.
